Back when Jules and I were timelapsing/taking pictures at Hawk Hill, we noticed something unusual.
When we were there, we noticed a trio of planes orbiting San Francisco. Upon closer inspection (it’s amazing what a crop factor does to a EF mount zoom lens), we realized it was a propeller plane escorting two different sized Learjets around the Bay. (The timelapse never did come out. Somehow got corrupted and then the shutter seized up)
It was quite an unexpected treat for everyone on Hawk Hill as they circled a couple of times fairly close to us. That did mystify the Hawks flying around, but I’m sure they are used to us humans by now.
