I always thought my first time in Vegas would have me visiting the Strip. I was wrong.

Instead, I got to see the famous Las Vegas Strip from a distance. From the highway, specifically. However, it’s just like I saw it in the Hangover. There was even military jets orbiting the city! (That happens normally, right?)

After we got gas in Vegas, we headed towards the Mojave Desert on I-15. It was beautiful drive but insanely hot out. It broke 110 degrees at one point during our drive that afternoon.

We drove through massive canyons and around salt flats. We finally hit California later that day.
