Well, we have finally gotten off to the rest of our trip across the country. After an eventful weekend, a relaxing drive was definitely in order.

Lucky for us, the weather today from Solon, OH to Joliet, IL was fantastic. Barely broached 80 degrees in the afternoon and we had a nice breeze all day. This proved to be great since Marcy (and now Chopper) prefer the windows down.

We drove through miles and miles of farm land. We also saw the biggest wind farm either of us has seen before.

What I didn’t expect to get today was a pretty gnarly sunburn since the sun was basically beating on my left side all day. Don’t believe me? See the damage below.
