If you have read my blog for any period of time over the past year, you can probably surmise that I love to take nature shots, specifically flowers. I truly enjoy capturing the delicate beauty that nature has created close up with my 60MM Macro lens. Last week, I bought Jules some flowers that were colored artificially with some 80’s neon colors. Before she saw them I brought them outside, grabbed my camera, and went to town. (This was also the first time I got to use my new variable neutral density filter that I got from Amazon)

Once I was done taking pictures (and gave Jules her flowers), I played around with various colors and presets in Aperture 3. I haven’t paid for any presets (yet)- all of my presets that weren’t built-in were free. I’m happy to report I got some very vibrant and colorful shots than I normally achieve. What do you think of them? Check out the whole set on Flickr!
