This weekend, after months of training in (so-so) weather, Jules and I ran the Frederick Half Marathon in Frederick, MD. Neither of us has ever ran this course before so it was really neat to both experience it for the first time. This was Jules’s first (!) half marathon ever and she did great! The Frederick half was the second marathon I’ve run- the last one was the Half Marathon at the Baltimore Running Festival in 2009. I did slightly worse than my run in Baltimore, however, I am using my experience to improve while I prepare for the Full Marathon at the Baltimore Running Festival this October.
