Innovate Baltimore hosted a networking event this month at a bar in Canton called “The Get Down”. I have walked past this bar a couple of times before while wandering around Baltimore, but I have never found a good excuse to waltz inside with my Canon DSLR. The decoration/architecture of this bar/lounge is very unique- I have never seen anything like it before. So, while I was networking with fellow Baltimoreans, I walked around and ended up getting some amazing shots using my 50MM f1.8 prime lens (also known as Optimus Prime). Innovate Baltimore puts on a great event but the venue interested me much more.
