Last weekend James and I headed down to Great Falls, Virginia to take some pictures of the falls in the wintertime. Great Falls is a gorgeous area that lies on the Potomac River (which separates Maryland from Virginia). We visited the National Park on the Virginia side. I was able to use my telephoto zoom lens to take pictures of the falls that are closer than I ever had before. Here is a sample of what I took- for the whole set head over to my Virginia Flickr set.
