Welcome to this week’s edition of Project Art!

In light of the current cold freeze that is gripping Maryland, I will be showcasing flower photos this week. Ever since I started working on my photography in college (mainly for backgrounds on my computer at the time) I have always enjoyed Macro photos of flowers. Flowers are one of the best parts of nature and taking the time to really look closely at them can yield some surprising details. It can be truly breathtaking to see how beautifully fragile nature can be. Here are a few of my favorite flower shots taken on location in Cimarron, NM and Ithaca College‘s campus in Ithaca, NY.
