Life is a Highway

Since we took our sweet time in Talladega, we had to haul it to get to our friend Alli’s house in the evening when she was expecting us. We got to drive through downtown Atlanta, which is a much bigger city than I realized. Driving past the Olympic rings and Centennial Park was very cool. We really wanted to stop by the original waffle house, but we didn’t have the time 😦 We took 85 straight up through South Carolina and got to see the (much smaller) city of Greenville. There wasn’t too much to see from the road during this leg of the trip, however, we did see a airplane on the back of a tow truck! I am looking forward to seeing Alli- I haven’t seen her in person in over a year!
